Wild Wolves

Wolf emerging from the forest in Denali

Recently I have received a few email about wolves, and I thought why not do a series of posts on my favorite subject.  At times, I have invested large amounts of time looking for and trying to photograph wolves.  I would often return to a particular spot day after day and wait for the entire day in the hopes of spotting a wolf.  Without a doubt, this time spent has lead to some of my most memorable experiences and favorites images.  I hope to share some of them over the next few days.

Key-wording Woes

Imperial Beach Pier, California

This dark, gloomy photo of the Imperial Beach Pier kind of summed up my mood when I realized I some how lost the extended keywords to about 400 images!  Key-wording is about the only aspect of being a photographer that I don’t really like.  I now discovered something worse; re-key-wording the same images!  LOL.  O well.

Seward Visitor Guide

I promise, this is the last of the new covers!  It had been a couple of months since I posted a cover photo on the blog, so I did have some catching up to do.

This is current year’s Seward Chamber of Commerce Visitor Guide for Seward, Alaska.  The Chamber was one of my very first customers many years ago, and their cover is one I’m always proud to be a part of!

Landscaping with Native Plants of the Southwest

I thought I would continue the cover theme for a couple more days since we have a nice batch of new ones.  This is a photo from Organ Pipe National Monument in Arizona during the amazing spring bloom two years ago.  This looks really appealing to me right now – in Alaska we currently have mostly dirty snow and leafless trees.  Alaska makes a drastic transition in the next couple of months.
