F/V Northwestern coming into Seward, Alaska.
This is the fishing vessel Northwestern coming into Seward at about 11:15 last night. This is one of the crab boats made famous on the Discovery Channel’s show Deadliest Catch. I was hoping it would arrive a bit earlier while we were enjoying some amazing evening light! But, at least it is still plenty light enough for photography despite the late time of day.

Cool! Deadliest Catch is my favorite show. I don’t know how those guys do it. Knowing the show, it’s not just a nice picture of a boat.

Thanks Ron – I don’t know how they do it either. Seeing it in person, I was surprised it wasn’t larger. We had a chance to visit with Edger and a deck hand – interesting stories, and they guys couldn’t have been friendlier!

I build models houses cars airplanes and boats. Made one of the fishing boat out of Hoboken NJ the palace II. My family from my dad down to my kids. Well I need a new project so I’m going to build one of the North western. I hope sig likes it
