I’m sure you must have one of these with your pretty model wife in one chair, and you & your self portrait in a red or orange shirt / jacket, both sipping a freshly made latte w/ swirled foam & a mint leaf… right ? Oh wait… let me guess, your model opted to say asleep in the big, comfy, warm bed? 🙂
Even if I had a model wife like Janine, I don’t know if my brain would be functioning well enough at sunrise to be able to pull off Ron’s model-release type of shots.
That would have been a nice spot for a steaming cup of tea!

Nice shot Ron. I love that purplish color the lake turns just before the sun rises. I’m looking forward to seeing some of your Tahoe shots! I was supposed to be there this week, but my wife and I opted to skip on our annual trip since our schedules are pretty hectic right now. I’m still tempted to do a quick day trip up there just to try to snag a few shots. How are the fall colors up there?
I agree, the morning light is really nice even without clouds. Looks like the weather will be nice this weekend – maybe a quick trip is of order for you guys. There is some color, but it has a ways to go to peak, even at the higher elevations. We biked the Flume Trail today and there was plenty of green – I was hoping for more color – still really pretty.
I remember my LAST VACATION…it was totally RADICAL DUDE!!
although I went to my backyard for my last vacation. LAMEEEEE-O!!! huh?! write me back AGAIN please.

I was showing my 12 y.o. daughter Lake Tahoe and explaining to her how beautiful is and exactly where in the map was and somehow I got into your blog and now I am delighting with all of your photos. She loves photography and so do I , though we are not very into it.
Your work is wonderful. ..you have an angel sight. Congratulations from Madrid, Spain.
