It is amazing how small howler monkey babies are and still able to climb everywhere! Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.

I still have lots of Costa Rica photos to share, but thought I would take a short break and share this image of a brown bear family from last summer. Just adjusted this photo this morning – I missed it on my first round of edits. This is a sow with three spring cubs just waking up. Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.

My reptile handler was very excited about this snake as he had never seen an orange eyelash palm pit-viper. This came about thanks to a call from a nearby farm to the handler. They told him what they found and said they were going to kill it unless he wanted it. I think he gives them something like $20 and takes the snake back to his property, where we can photograph it. Then he can release it in a safer location on his property. By the way, this was captured with my longest telephoto lens equivalent to a 1000mm full frame lens.
Too photograph wildlife like this, check out our Costa Rica Photo Tour.

As several of you have speculated, our recent travel to Costa Rica was in anticipation of a new photo tour. I am really excited about this one! I could go on and on here, but all the details can be found at the link. Of course, I’m happy to answer any questions. Pura Vida! Costa Rica Photo Tour.
