Huge iceberg in Bear Glacier Lagoon, Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska.

Back from guiding a wonderful photo tour in Kenai Fjords National Park! We saw 10 plus bears the first day from the train and helicopter! Lots of wildlife and amazing scenery including orcas and humpbacks. Had a special surprise the last day when we saw a group of 4 fin whales! the Fin whale is the second largest animal on earth reaching almost 70 feet! Unfortunately there are possibly fewer than 100,000 left in the world.

This is from inside Bear Glacier Lagoon. It is so fun to paddle amongst these huge ice bergs after having flown over them the day before in a helicopter with the doors off. We access this lagoon in a specially designed jet boat, then switch to kayaks. More photos to come!
