Tomorrow I head to Anchorage to begin a very long awaited Kenai Fjords Photo Tour! We had to cancel this last year due to Covid, and considering some of the folks had signed up over a year before that, it means they have waited some two and a half years for this trip!
I think the wait will be worth it. We will take the train on Gold Star Service to Seward, then helicopter with doors off to this incredible lagoon which has even extra ice in it this year. The next day we will return to this lagoon in kayaks thanks to a specially designed jet boat. Finally we will spend 4 full days on a yacht in Kenai Fjords National Park – I can’t wait! I won’t always have cell service, but I’ll post when I can, otherwise I hope to have a lot of new images in a week! Cheers!
