This is such an impressive sight to see and hear!

At this point in the summer the brown bears were only keeping the female salmon, and only eating the roe.

Shaking the water off without losing the salmon – this bear has skills! Last week, Baranof Island, Tongass National Forest, Alaska.

This was a stunning iceberg in Tracy Arm! i shared an image of it on social media from my Iphone, but this is with the “real” camera. This has to be the most beautiful iceberg I have ever seen – and I have seen a lot!

Back from an amazing Alaska Bear and Whale Photo Tour! We had all the things I had hoped for – breeching humpbacks, bubble-net feeding humpbacks, orcas, lots of bears including cub, and amazing scenery!
