Rivoli’s Hummingbird from a couple of days ago in Cave Creek in the Chiricahua Mountains of Southeast Arizona.

It is interesting how the bears on the Katmai Coast at the beginning of the Pink Salmon run start by eating the tail. I had just come from Southeast Alaska where the salmon run is earlier, and there the bears were already down to just eating the roe from females and throwing everything else back.
