Snowshoeing in Turnagain Pass
About a week ago I wrote of the beautiful snow in Turnagain Pass, and mentioned I would be heading there with my snowshoes on the next nice day. Well yesterday was that day. It was a beautiful – well except for the 16 degrees below zero temperature. I don’t know how much snow is up there, but the Alyeska Ski Resort not far away received 24 feet of snow in December.
