Bells Alaska Travel Guide 2015
I’m doubling up on the shareless self promotion today – it is a treat to have images on the cover of Bells Travel Guides again! These free guide are great, full of wonderful information and very helpful maps – you see this guides all through out Alaska, but sure to pick one up during your travels.

This just arrived in the mail this afternoon! The photo was from last June’s bear tour to Lake Clark National Park. This calender is published by Greatland Graphics – they do a wonderful series of Alaska calenders. They have been a valued customer for many many years, and I’m proud to be a part of many of their beautiful products!

Unfortunately a broken ankle has forced one of my guests to cancel his spot in my August Alaska Bear and Puffin Photo Tour.
My trips have been full for months, so if you missed out before, here is a chance to get in on this amazing trip! See all kinds of behavior, often we see nursing sows at close range! These bear trips never disappoint. Plus, this is maybe the best place in Alaska to photograph horned puffin! Throw in eagles, sea otters… Well you get the idea. Usually about now I’m promoting our 2015 photo tours. This year, they are all full except one, but it is a good one!
We still have 3 2 1 space left for our August Bear and Puffin photo tour. This is my longest running and historically most popular Alaska Photo Tour. In addition to the fantastic bear photo opportunities, last year we had the best puffin photography I have ever had along with an extremely cooperative sea otter that allowed for a really close approach. With its shorter days, August can also provide a unique opportunity for some amazing sunrises and sunsets.
You do not want to wait on this one as I will not be offering an August trip in 2016. In 2016 both of my bear trips will be in June so that I may offer a second Bears, Whales and Glacier Photo Tour in Southeast Alaska.
