Back from a second Alaska Brown Bear Photo Tour – don’t these guys look cuddly? I don’t think there nearby mom would allow it!
We had a great trip – looks of good photo opportunities and laughs! Been a fun, busy month! Now around home for the next month.
Alaska North to South
Second summer bear cubs, Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.
Home for a day after a month on the road crossing Alaska and back – 21 days of which were guiding the North South trip for Cheesemans’ Ecology Safaris. We had a great time, really fun group and saw a lot of amazing sights! The bears were awesome, so many cubs and great behaviors – excited to be going back in the morning.

Another new cover in the mail when I got home – this Bell Mapbook! Also always a treat to be on a Bell’s cover, as it is a family own business – I remember them coming through Glennallen when I was a kid! We have proudly worked with them for many, may years.
I photographed this cute little cub during one of my June Alaska Bear Photo Tours. I mention that, as unfortunately one of my regular clients is going to have to cancel his June spot. This trip usually fills very quickly a year in advance, so this is a bit of a rare opportunity to join me during the best time of year for Brown Bears and cubs! The dates on June 26th to July 1. Now that I’m back home, I might subject you to just a little bit of shameless self promotion.
