I have so many photos to share, it has been such a great time down here on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica!! Here is an anteater from yesterday afternoon! Such a treat!I went to grad school at UC Irvine where we were the anteaters, so this has a little extra meaning. zot zot. I know, scary mascot.

Golden-hooded Tanager. The birds in Costa Rica are so colorful!

I like to arrive early before my photo tour so that I can make sure the feeders are going and look good. The lodge must be putting out food this year as the feeders are much busier as compared to the past – nice option to have during downtime.

A couple of scarlet macaws from our first morning back on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. It is great to be back! I’m here a week before my photo tour – I like to arrive early to meet with the guides and refamiliarize myself with the wildlife. Bonus this year as my niece and her boyfriend will be joining us for a few days!
