Bell’s Travel Guide cover! Super proud to be on their cover – we have worked together many time over the years. If you are coming to Alaska this summer, keep an eye on for their guides as they are full of useful information, and I think have some of the best maps you will find on Alaska.

Brown bear, Tongass National Forest, Alaska.

I have had a crazy couple of weeks and haven’t had a chance to post anything here, but hopefully I will be back to regular posting. This is another one I hadn’t shared before, a brown bear in Southeast Alaska scratching an itch while watching for salmon.

I have never been so far behind on my editing as I am now, but I’m getting caught up! So I’ll be sharing some new photos from 2023 that I hadn’t shared before now that they are adjusted. Here are a couple of first summer brown bear cubs nursing in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.

Success!

Brown / Grizzly Bear, Lake Clark National Park, Alaska.

My two Alaska Bear and Puffin Photo Tours have been full for a long time. However, last weekend we had two unexpected cancellations, and that has opened up two spots on trip number 1, June 20-26, 2025. I have been visiting this location in Lake Clark National Park for 17 years now, and it never disappoints! These are just a couple photos from the area. Beside bears, we see lots of puffin and eagles.
