Denali

A small bull moose in Denali from Saturday.

I realized when I hit Denali that I did not have the energy or enthusiasm to do the place justice.  I have been home only 5 days over the last 3 months, and I think the cumulative effect of being on the road somewhat wore me out and made me homesick.  Now I’m not complaining, I have had an awesome stretch of travel!

So after traveling to Wonder Lake and seeing this moose, I turned around and drove all the way home to Seward!  It was a long 17 hours in the truck.  It is great to see Janine and to be back home, not to mention I have a ton of stuff to do in the office.  I can also appreciate all the little things – things like being able to take a shower without wearing flip flops!
