This was a unique looking iceberg near the shore of Portage Lake right at sunset on a stormy night.
The little details in a photo may go unnoticed by many viewers, especially in such a small presentation like the photos on this blog. In this scene, I really liked the glowing blue glacier on the mountain in the background. I went to great lengths – and got plenty wet, getting into a position to frame that glacier within the opening of the arch in the iceberg. Sometimes these little details make a big difference in the final image.
