The closest thing to a NASCAR race that I have ever attended would have to be the Iditarod sled dog race. Since we were generously given tickets to the Las Vegas race, we had to take a look at what has become a huge cultural phenomena. And it was a great chance to grab some photos.
I must admit, it was a wild experience. It is hard to fathom the shear numbers of people – over 150,000! Our little section had more people then our entire town. The campground shuttle bus saved the day when it came to avoiding the traffic. This photo was from Saturday night, and not from the actual race.
