Kayakers in Northwestern Fjord, Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska.
As you head into Kenai Fjords from Seward, Aialik Bay is the first fjord you come to. But they next bay over, Northwestern Fjord, is even more spectacular in many ways. Northwestern has more glaciers, and almost no vegetation, it is a very harsh, raw environment.
This is Northwestern Glacier from a few years ago. A few years before this, there wasn’t any rock showing between the legs of the glacier, it was all solid ice. Now that the rock wall is exposed, this south facing glacier is really melting fast.

Reno, Nevada.
The last of our website updates are now complete – just in a nick of time, we hit the road again next Monday!
We have updated our section of Reno photos, and it now includes photos of the surrounding areas of Sparks and Carson City, Nevada.
In addition, we have a new section for nearby Virginia City, Nevada, and have updated our section of Lake Tahoe photos. I really need to spend some more time in Lake Tahoe area one of these years.

We have also updated our website with many new Las Vegas photos. This is now one of our largest sections.
We have also updated our section of nearby Red Rock Canyon, and added a new section from a afternoon spent at Valley of Fire State Park – I really look forward to returning to this beautiful, colorful area.
Zion National Park, Utah.
Today we just published a huge update to our gallery of Zion National Park Photos. I think we went from 10 photos, to about 60 photos!

Well we have just updated our website gallery with all our new Grand Teton National Park Photos. Now that we have a fair amount of spring a fall coverage of the area, the lack of winter coverage seems like a glowing hole. Hopefully one of these year.
If you followed our travels through the Tetons on our blog, then many of these photos will look familiar.
