
Now this is my kind of viewpoint! Unlike yesterday’s post – here I was the only person within at least 3/4 a mile. Just me, the crisp fall breeze, and the distant bugle of an elk. Perfect.

The bad news, the Grand Tetons is crawling with photographers right now. The good news, they all tend to shoot at the same four or five iconic viewpoints, with the beautiful Oxbow Bend being at the top of this list.Read More

Grand Teton last night.

The Jackson area has been getting some much needed rain since we arrived, which means some wonderful fresh snow on the Tetons! Uneventful travel getting here, in fact every flight was early!

I thought I would share our most recent cover – this just arrived in the mail. Not only is it fun to have a cover, but this Explorer’s Guide to Arizona looks like a great guide – it could come in very handy this winter. We are planning to spend some time in this warm state this winter.
