More autumn arctic colors from the last couple of weeks.

A couple of young polar bears wander from their mom to curiously check us out.  

This is the Haul Road, now called the Dalton Highway heads up onto the Chandlar Shelf. This road was featured on the TV show Ice Road Truckers.

I have been stopping at this amazing location for years and last week it did not disappoint!

Autumn colors last week along the Dalton Highway – so bright!   

Wonderful to be home from a great trip! This is a polar bear on a hot summer evening last week in the Alaska Arctic.   Last year on this same date, I had snow. This year I was often in a short sleeve t-shirt.

Captured with an Olympus e-1mx, 300 f/4 at f/4, ISO 640 and 1/8,000 of a second.      

We had an amazing aurora show a couple of nights ago in the Brooks Range! Now off for polar bears!
