This was in camera. I used a 2 stop hard edge graduated neutral density filter on the sky.

Hi Ron,
We’ve looked and really can’t tell where you put the edge of the filter. Guess that means you are a pro at using it. Would you be willing to share where you placed the edge?
You know, it was basically at a slight angle running along the top of the buildings – there was some extra light hitting the top of the buildings, so I tried to block that a bit. Fortunately, the transition doesn’t show in this image at all.

Yeah – sunsets are so much easier to photograph up north then down there in Arizona where they are over as soon as they begin!
